In the past the Mole Day 6K raised funds to endow a scholarship at Marietta College to honor retired Biochemistry professor Dr. Bob Walker. We successfully reached that goal, with a lot of support by the community and the generosity of an anonymous donor.

Beginning in 2019 the Chemistry Club will be raising funds to establish a new award for students at Marietta College. Beginning in May 2020 Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry will be awarding the Inaugural Dr. Richard Krause Memorial Prize for Research!
